Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply when you use the Power Her Up (PHU) website or participate in PHU events, programs, workshops or other services. By using our website or registering for a PHU activity, you agree to follow these Terms and any additional conditions provided for a specific event or program.

    • You may use the PHU website for lawful purposes related to PHU programs, events and services.

      You must not:

      • Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes

      • Attempt to access accounts, systems or data without permission

      • Upload harmful or malicious content

      • Interfere with the operation or security of the website

      • Provide false or misleading information

      • Use PHU services to harass, abuse or harm others

    • If PHU provides member accounts or community features, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

      PHU may remove inappropriate content or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, maintain security or enforce these Terms.

    • PHU may use Humanitix or another approved platform to manage event and program registrations.

      Registration may depend on:

      • Availability

      • Program eligibility

      • Payment, where applicable

      • Event-specific conditions

      • Information needed to manage the event or program

      Please provide accurate information when registering.

    • Some PHU events or programs may require payment. Prices and any required fees will be shown before you complete your registration or purchase. Payments may be processed through a third-party payment provider.

    • Cancellation and refund conditions may vary between events or programs. Any specific conditions should be provided during registration.

      PHU may change or cancel an event where reasonably necessary. This may include changes to the date, time, location, format or program content.

      For paid events, refunds or other arrangements will be handled according to the event conditions and applicable Australian consumer law.

      Note: Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

    • Participants must behave respectfully and lawfully at PHU events, programs and online spaces.

      PHU may refuse entry or remove a participant for serious unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, harassing or unlawful behaviour, where appropriate.

    • Unless otherwise stated, PHU website content and PHU-created materials, including text, graphics, logos and resources, are owned by or licensed to WiCT/PHU.

      You may use these materials for personal and non-commercial purposes related to PHU activities.

      You must not copy, sell, publish or commercially use PHU content without permission, except where permitted by law.

    • If you provide content for publication through PHU, you must have the right to share it.

      You allow PHU to use that content as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which you submitted it.

      You must not submit unlawful, harmful or infringing content or content that violates another person's rights or privacy.

    • PHU may take photos or recordings at some events or request testimonials.

      Where identifiable photos, videos or testimonials are intended for promotional use, PHU will provide appropriate notice and obtain consent where required.

    • PHU may use third-party services such as Humanitix, Wix, payment providers or other online platforms.

      These services may have their own terms and privacy policies. PHU is not responsible for independent third-party websites or services, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

    • PHU handles personal information in accordance with the PHU Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.

      Additional privacy information may be provided when you register for a particular event, program or service.

    • Information provided through PHU events, programs and the website is generally for educational and informational purposes.

      It should not be treated as legal, financial, medical or other professional advice unless clearly stated otherwise.

    • To the extent permitted by law, WiCT/PHU is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from the use of the PHU website or participation in PHU activities.

      Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law.

    • PHU may update these Terms when its website, programs, events or services change.

      The latest version will be published on the PHU website with the Last updated date.

    • These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, subject to any rights available under Australian law.
